Mrs. Lisa Corley
DEAN OF ACADEMIC AFFAIRS
Hello, Christ the King! As the Dean of Academic Affairs, I am very excited to begin this wonderful journey with you into becoming a Catholic liberal arts school. I have been married to my husband, John, for 17 years and we have four children, ages 15, 13, 12 and 10. I knew from an early age that God was calling me to the vocation of teaching. God has given me a deep love for education and for children. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with minors in Literature and History from the University of Kansas. For nearly a decade, I have studied classical Catholic education tirelessly and educated my own children in this model. At Borromeo Academy, I had the opportunity to work closely with the principal to develop and implement a classical curriculum, as well as train the faculty in how to execute said curriculum. The principal and I successfully guided the transition from a modern curriculum to an authentically Catholic classical curriculum at Borromeo Academy. At the same time, I have been furthering my own formal education. Last year, I began a three-year journey through a Masters level certification program for classical teaching, with the Circe Institute. I am so thankful for the opportunity to help lead Christ the King on this important journey back to traditional Catholic, classical education.
