Dr. Douglas O'Neill DIRECTOR OF FORMATION IN SACRED MUSIC
I began my position as Director of Formation in Sacred Music and Liturgy at Christ the King in 2020, and am delighted to collaborate with an excellent and passionate faculty in the formation of our students. I hold degrees from the University of Evansville, University of Iowa, and the University of Kansas, where I completed the Doctor of Musical Arts in Church Music. As a college student, I developed a love for the great musical, artistic, architectural, and intellectual traditions of the Catholic Church, along with its great saints and acts of charity. My experience working at the Madeleine Choir School in Salt Lake City allowed me to witness the great power of the marriage of these beautiful traditions with the education of children. From then on, I have been committed to nurturing beauty in the hearts and minds of students, and helping them realize the beauty of their own selves as created in the image of God.
