I am a teacher, mom, grandmother, wife, sister, daughter, among many other titles, but my favorite titles are grandmother, mom and teacher. I was born in Kansas City, Kansas area to David and Margarita Sandoval, who still live here in KCK. I was fortunate enough to attend Catholic schools for most of my education. My grandmother Mercedes, who was a big part of my life, passed away on December 12, 2019 at the age of 102. She passed away in Chihuahua, Mexico where many of my cousins, aunts, uncles, and other extended family members still reside. I graduated from Donnelly College with two Associates Degrees, attended KCKCC for three years, and I graduated from Emporia State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. I am blessed to have the opportunity to teach in Classical Catholic school where our values are the same. My oldest daughter is a stay-home mom to my two awesome grandsons who are four and three this year. My two middle daughters are attending KCKCC. My son, who is my youngest, will be a freshman at Bishop Ward High School and he is looking forward to being a student. It is important to my husband and I that our children attend Catholic schools because we want them to be taught the same valuable lessons that are being taught at our home. My philosophy is to teach from my heart, while allowing the children to discover their God-given abilities and use them to become leaders of their lives. God bless you all!
